What are Activity Waves?

An activity wave is a period of time where activity is tracked. Hour requirements are calculated on a per activity wave basis, where a staff member must meet the hour requirement in the specified period of time.

You can view a timeline of all activity waves in your server, as well as the number of shifts and hours for each wave.

An activity wave can be force ended by clicking the End Current Activity Wave button. To set how long an activity wave will last, set the Activity Wave Duration setting.

Viewing Shifts and Member Activity

Under the Activity tab of your server's dashboard, you can select the Shifts and Member Activity tabs.

The Shifts tab shows all the latest for each activity wave. You can view who's been on shift recently and edit shifts.

The Member Activity tab allows you view the activity of your staff members. Select an activity wave, search for the member, and select the member you want to view the activity of. You can view the shifts, the total time online, and the total time on break.

Editing a Shift

To edit a shift, click the three dots in the right of the shift and click Edit Shift. You can edit the duration of the shift or the start and end timestamps.

Viewing Activity Leaderboards

Melonly allows servers to view activity leaderboards. Leaderboards show the most active staff as well as who did and didn't meet the hour requirement for a specified activity wave. To view activity leaderboards, go to the Activity tab of your server's dashboard and select Activity Leaderboards. If a staff member was on leave of absence during the activity wave, they will have a calendar icon in their row.
